Schedule Ltd are a construction planning and project controls company, who commissioned me to create a new brand identity. The big idea was “Making every day count”, and the key messages to communicate were that Schedule are established industry professionals, with a modern and reliable approach to construction project management. It was an exciting journey to develop this concept into something visual and tangible; so I’ve presented the branding process from start to finish as this makes a great case study. Deliverables included a logo, brand manual and other supporting design elements.
Full brand development with a brand manual is far superior to a lone logo design, as it provides you with the ability to implement consistency right across the board; now and in the future. It really is teach a man to fish, vs give a man a fish – as far as the way your company visually communicates. The manual typically includes recommended logo usage, acceptable colour variations, selected colours, typefaces and any graphic elements available. It also clearly outlines the brand strategy, goals, target audience, brand voice; and how these are visually represented by the brand itself.
