It was a pleasure working with Simply CDM, a specialist CDM advisory consultancy operating within the construction industry. The scope of the project centred on refining and expanding their existing brand identity, developing a comprehensive set of guidelines and a flexible visual system capable of supporting clear, consistent communication across a wide range of materials.
The identity system was designed to work seamlessly across brochures, pitch decks, proposals, CVs and presentations—ensuring a cohesive look and feel regardless of format or context. To support this, the system included a bespoke suite of icons, along with carefully considered headers, footers, section dividers and graphic elements. A small, curated set of themed imagery was also developed to provide subtle visual interest and depth when used as background assets.
Beyond the core identity work, I had the opportunity to support the Simply CDM team in designing a number of live materials. In some cases, this involved creating flexible templates to allow for easy updates internally; in others, fully bespoke pieces were developed to suit specific content, audiences or bid requirements. This approach ensured the brand could be applied efficiently day-to-day, while still allowing for a more tailored, considered finish where needed.
