I was commissioned to create a new logo for Davis Contractors – who specialise in kitchens, bathrooms, rendering and plastering. The revised logo was to reflect the high level of service provided by the contractors, appeal primarily to homeowners and convey a sense of modern, sleek finishing. Davis Contractors have invested in top of the range tools; Festool, ensuring the highest quality workmanship. They have an excellent team of fully qualified multi traders.
The logo is to be used in a wide range of settings including t-shirts, vans and stationary – so had to be simple and clearly visible.
We developed a concept that incorporated customised lettering with the logo symbol itself; an effective way of creating a distinct and memorable identity. The contrast in weight and size in the lettering is also pleasing to the eye.
