Tech Butler is a London based brand offering technical support to high net worth individuals. Smart homes, entertainment systems, home business setup – just to name a few services. Discrete, reliable – and always just a phone call away for any technical issues their select clients need solved.
We wanted the logo to reflect the simple, hassle-free service provided, while ensuring it felt high end and luxurious. The combination of a light, modern font appropriate for the word ‘Tech’, paired with a classic font for ‘Butler’ – created just the right tone and expectation. The simple bowtie framed by keylines is the perfect way to play on the word ‘Butler’, and all the positive word association conveyed by it.
Case Study
Opportunity
High-net-worth clients want their technology to feel invisible—seamless, discreet and always handled. In a market full of generic “techy” marks, there was room for an identity that projects concierge-level service and quiet luxury at a glance.
Objectives
-
Signal on-call reliability and discretion for smart homes, entertainment systems and home office setups.
-
Balance modern technology with classic service in a single, memorable mark.
-
Build a disciplined system (lockups, small-space variants, framing device) that holds together across print and digital.
Insight & Strategy
The brand promise is effort removed. We leaned into a dual typographic voice—fresh and modern for “Tech,” classical for “Butler”—then introduced a simple emblem that encodes service without fuss. The tone stays composed and premium: generous spacing, restrained contrast, and language that reassures rather than dazzles.
Identity Solution
-
Wordmark pairing: A light, modern style for Tech paired with a timeless, classical cut for Butler—instantly communicating contemporary capability plus heritage-grade service.
-
Emblem: A minimal bow-tie, framed by fine keylines, delivers a direct but elegant nod to the butler concept. The framing doubles as a signature device for badges, seals and social avatars where the full wordmark would be too fine.
-
System: Primary horizontal and compact lockups with clear-space and minimum-size rules; monochrome and reversed variants maintain clarity on screens, stationery and over photography.
Competitive Edge Now
Compared with category norms, Tech Butler reads calm, capable and discreet. The typographic pairing tells the story in a glance; the bow-tie device adds a memorable cue without tipping into novelty. The system stays usable day-to-day, from small digital icons to elegant print.
What This Enables
A consistent, high-trust presence for a concierge tech service: faster recognition among HNWI clients and their household teams; polished touchpoints for on-call communications; and a scalable visual kit that extends into vehicles, invoices and the website while preserving the brand’s quiet-luxury tone.
